When it comes to discussing price in the abstract for web services, it's best to first mention the kinds of jobs where we're NOT apt to be price competitive:
- Projects that require custom or customized application development.
- Projects with very large (1,000s) numbers of products.
- Projects that require sophisticated inter/intra portal communications functionality.
This leaves a vast middle ground of projects that we MAY be interested in and thus price competitively. Our bread and butter projects could be defined as follows:
- We charge $60 an hour for our web coaching services. Of course, the initial consultation is free.
- If the solution to your problem involves more a definable project, we will gladly provide you with a fixed price.
- We'll always try to estimate the number of hours we think a solution will require.
Website Design & Content Development
- Very small website projects that fall into our Web Coaching 101 offering.
- Small websites that have a purpose. In other words, we like clients who have goals and who understand how their website can help them reach those goals even if their budget is not large ($1,000 - $3,000).
- Second and third generation websites with owners who know the importance of their sites and who either want Just Imagine to build and manage their site or who want to learn to manage their own site. ($2,500 - $10,000).
Website Management
- Sites that require frequent changes and thus pay Just Imagine a retainer as their webmaster. Retainers range from $100 a month to $300, depending on the size and likely frequency of changes. Managing multiple sites calls for special pricing.
- Sites with content that changes more sporadically and thus pay Just Imagine an hourly rate (currently $60 per hour).
- Small sites with big aspirations and modest budgets. Just Imagine charges a monthly Search Engine Optimization fee which ranges from $100 to $300, depending on the size of the site and the competitiveness of the keywords.
- Sites with bigger budgets with owner's who are looking for rapid results. Just Imagine also manages Cost-per-Click campaigns. Cost-per-Click budgets range from $150 per month to several thousand dollars.
